Meet ARNO - the perfect light jacket for the transitional period. Our jacket ARNO features two patch pockets, long sleeves with cuffs as well as classic collar and buttons.
ARNO comes in a beautiful sand color and is made of organic cotton. The name ARNO is derived from the river Arno in Italy.

100% organic cotton/ Bio-Baumwolle

Compared to conventional cotton, the cultivation of organic cotton needs 23% less water and produces only 1.2 kg instead of 3.7 kg greenhouse gas emissions. By using only natural pesticides, fertilizers and defoliants, the health of the soil is contained and the people who work in the fields are not exposed to these chemicals.

ARNO is made of organic cotton, which is sustainable and easy to take care of:

  • gentle wash up to 30°C
  • use mild or color detergent
  • use a washing bag to protect the garment from zippers (and other mean things) being in the same washing machine
  • no softener
  • iron on low to medium temperature

Oversized fit- unisex sizes. Our model Mary wears size S. If you don't want ARNO to be superoversized, take one size smaller!

ARNO

1. design

Our founders Anna and Jula still do all of the design work themselves. They are mastering that challenge, despite living in two different countries. Luckily they're pros at long-distance teamwork.

So the design process is split between Hamburg and Dubai.

2. raw material

Since the average cotton production is a pretty dirty business, we only use organic and recycled cotton.
If you wanna know more about the ecological benefits, compared to regular cotton. The cotton is grown in India.

3. yarn production

No matter which fibers we are talking about, we have to make it into a yarn, before it gets its beautiful shape. The yarn production takes place in Indonesia.

4. fabric production

The next step of our Supply Chain is to weave the yarn into a fabric.
The fabric production is located in Poland.

5. manufacturing

That's where all the magic happens!
Our manufacturers receive the patterns, fabrics, and other components like buttons or zippers and make them into a garment.

This piece is made in Wraclow, Poland.

6. distribution

As some of you may remember, we used to do the shipping and warehouse management in our Headquarter in Hamburg by ourselves - yes, that was a lot of work!

Since 2020 we are working with our amazing logistics partner Livipur, which is located in Bad Homburg, Germany

Made by

WANDA, AGA, WIOLA or ASIA in our very first production in Wroclaw, Poland. The production is a family business run by Jola and Irek. Without them, JAN ’N JUNE wouldn’t exist.

Thank you for your amazing job & our loyal relationship!
