Keep it simple.
All our garments are produced in Wroclaw, Poland. Why Poland? Because we want a close-by production so we have an eye on what’s going on. We are visiting our manufacturer on regular basis to define the workmanships for each article and auditing the factory. We have a contract with our manufacturer that strictly forbids to pass on our order to third parties so we can guarantee full transparency. Our goal is to build a long-lasting partnership with the Ciborski family. With only one supplier we keep it simple and transparent.
Certificates and Standards
Global Organic Textile Standard
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well. Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria. The choice of accessories is limited in accordance with ecological aspects as well. A functional waste water treatment plant is mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must comply with minimum social criteria. The key criteria of GOTS, its quality assurance system and the principles of the review and revision procedure are summarised in this section.
Please visit the GOTS-website for more information.
Internationaler Verband Naturtextilindustrie
This quality standard, best known in Europe, is much higher than current legal mandates within the European Union. It is the quality seal with the strictest requirements for ecological textile production and represents the highest technical level currently available. Since 2000, BEST reflects the standards developed and implemented by iVN for eco-friendly textiles, inspecting the entire textile chain both in terms of ecology and social accountability. Only a select range of products can meet this standard.

Global Recycling Standard
The Global Recycled Standard is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. The GRS is intended to meet the need of companies looking to verify the recycled content of their products (both finished and intermediate products) and to verify responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices in the production of these products. The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content claims, good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimized.
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) was originally developed by Control Union Certifications (CU) in 2008 and ownership was passed to Textile Exchange January 1st, 2011.
Please visit the Textile-Exchange-website, for more information.
The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. They are tested for harmful substances as: illegal substances, legally regulated substances, known harmful (but not legally regulated) chemicals as well as parameters for health care. In their entirety the requirements clearly exceed existing national legislation.

Please note: that neither the final products nor JAN N JUNE as a company nor our production factory are certified at the moment.
