Sales Advisor (mid August to mid October 2024)

We are looking for a passionate Sales Advisor for our eight-week pop-up store in Hamburg’s city center, who will be responsible for advising and selling at the point of sale, the visual merchandising (in cooperation with our team) and replenishing. Ideally you enjoy working with people, love to share facts and stories about fair fashion and are available from mid August to mid October 2024.

You have a hands-on mentality, like to take initiative and you are ready to work in a start-up company? Welcome!

What you will do

• Advising and selling in our pop up store
• Operating the cash desk
• Restocking of products
• Visual merchandising (in cooperation with our team)
• Daily Reporting

What you will need

• Fashion and sustainability is what you believe in.
• Passion for fair fashion
• Experience in (fashion) retail
• Enjoy dealing with our customers and our team
• You will be comfortable in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.

• You will be responsible for our customer communication #customerlove
• Support in handling and refunding of returns
• Analyzing and documenting of returns
• Communication with our warehouse
• Organization and support of pop-up shops
• Support in all B2C related matters
  

What you will need

• You should have a fashion, sustainability or economical background.
• Fashion, trends and sustainability is what you believe in.
• You are comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint.
• You will be comfortable in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
• You will be willing to work from your own laptop.
• Candidates must be fluent in English and German (both writing and speaking).

What you will do

• You will support our Product Team in all areas, such as Sourcing, Production, Product Development or Quality Management and provide support wherever its needed
• Assisting team in planning and implementing of production documents and delivery timelines
• Assisting team during sampling process
• You will be responsible for parcel traffic between JAN ’N JUNE Headquarters and productions
• Maintenance of product data throughout the supply chain
• Collecting all relevant supply chain information for the Eco-IDs of our products and support in certification processes
• Support in claims process
  

What you will need

• You are currently enrolled in a German university or college.
• You are interested in sustainability-driven supply chains and product development
• You have profound Excel skills
• Textile knowledge (materials, fabrics, garment manufacturing processes) is mandatory
• Working in a constantly developing environment is something you like
• You always see fields of improvement and are interested in addressing them
• You intend to stay in the job for minimum 1 year
• You are willing to work from your own laptop
• You are fluent in English and German (Polish or Portuguese language skills are an advantage)

• Be responsible for mostly wording and text
• Be responsible for all our newsletters
• Support our photo shootings and video productions
• Create text for packaging, flyers, hangtags, stickers, videos, banners & ads for all our departments
• Supporting with creation of small videos and reels
• Support our marketing team

What you will need

• You should have a communication, sustainability or fashion background.
• You should be good with words.
• You're confident and interested in creating video content.
• Fashion, trends and sustainability is what you believe in.
• You have an in-depth knowledge of Adobe programs. It's a huge advantage if you already know Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
• You are comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint.
• You will be willing to work from your own laptop.
• Candidates must be fluent in English and German (both writing and speaking).
