Sourced ethically from the Andes, it’s incredibly cozy - almost heavenly, too bad we already call our brushed jersey “angelskin.” Lightweight, warm, and hypoallergenic, alpaka offers unmatched comfort. Plus, our manufacturer is a proud member of the International Alpaka Association (IAA), supporting ethical practices and exceptional fiber quality.

This item is made of a baby alpaca mix, which is a bit delicate to take care of: 

  • hand wash only
  • dry lying flat
  • no ironing

By the way: Wool is wonderfully warming with the typical characterful feel. But wool does not need to be washed after every wear! It is often sufficient to air wool clothing for a few hours. This allows odors to disappear and moisture to evaporate.

1. design

Our founders Anna and Jula still do all of the design work themselves. They are mastering that challenge, despite living in two different countries. Luckily they're pros at long-distance teamwork.

So the design process is split between Hamburg and Dubai.

2. raw material

Lightweight, warm and hypoallergenic, alpaca offers unmatched comfort and softness. Alpaca farming has a rich heritage in Peru, where communities have raised and cared for these animals for thousands of years, preserving traditional knowledge and sustainable practices. Our alpaca supplier in Peru is a proud member of the International Alpaka Association, ensuring ethical practices and exceptional fiber quality every step of the way.

3. yarn production

No matter which fibers we are talking about, they have to be spun into a yarn for further production steps. 

The yarn production takes place in Peru.

4. garment production

The next step of our Supply Chain is to knit the yarn into a beautiful knit garment.

The piece is made in Peru.

5. distribution 

As some of you may remember, we used to do the shipping and warehouse management in our Headquarter in Hamburg by ourselves - yes, that was a lot of work! 

Since 2020 we are working with our amazing logistics partner Livipur, which is located in Bad Homburg, Germany.
