By recycling 1 ton of PET, Lefrik frees up space of 5.7 m2 of landfill. The water usage is reduced by 90% when producing
recycled polyester instead of virgin. RPET also requires 70% less energy than producing virgin polyester. 1 Kg of RPET (made from 100% post-consumer waste) avoids 60 plastic bottles from ending in landfills.
Lefrik products are designed to last practically intact over the years. Here we share some tips to make your product last as long as possible in the best conditions:
- Remove dirt and stains with a small bristle brush or toothbrush along with mild soap and cold water
- Work in circular motions, rubbing gently. Repeat if necessary. Rinse with cold water and air dry.
- Can be put in the washing machine, always with cold water and a gentle cycle. If you decide to use this method, we recommend you use the Guppyffriend washing bag to prevent plastic microfibers from getting into the pipes and ending up in the waterways.
