Introducing GENT! Our button down shirt GENT is made of light and breezy linen fabric, which makes the shirt your perfect companion for hot summer days. GENT features short, slightly wider sleeves, a classic collar as well as buttons. The cut is quite straight and slightly oversized. This is a unisex item.

The linen shirt is made from flax grown in Europe.

100% Linen

GENT is made of 100% linen - a very sustainable and easy-to-take-care-of material:

  • wash up to 30°C
  • no softener
  • iron on medium temperature (but keep in mind: linen is a bit stubborn, so some of the wrinkles will just stay)

Loose fit. Our model Lukas is 1,80 m tall and wears size M.

All information given in cm.

GENT

1. design

Our founders Anna and Jula still do all of the design work themselves. They are mastering that challenge, despite living in two different countries. Luckily they're pros at long-distance teamwork.

So the design process is split between Hamburg and Dubai.

2. raw material

European Flax Linen - France.

3. yarn production

No matter which fibers we are talking about, they have to be spun into a yarn for further production steps.

The yarn production takes place in Italy.

4. fabric production

The next step of our Supply Chain is to weave the yarn into a fabric.
The fabric production is located in Portugal.

5. manufacturing

That's where all the magic happens!
Our manufacturers receive the patterns, fabrics, and other components like buttons or zippers and make them into a garment.

This piece is made in Portugal.

6. distribution

As some of you may remember, we used to do the shipping and warehouse management in our Headquarter in Hamburg by ourselves - yes, that was a lot of work!

Since 2020 we are working with our amazing logistics partner Livipur, which is located in Bad Homburg, Germany
