Denim over denim

You may know and love a similar cut already, from our bow tops of our linen and bridal collections. Now it shines new in denim.
SERA has a straight neckline and adjustable bow on the back. It is slightly tapered at the front hem.

You may know our Denim products already. SERA also was invented together in collaboration with Dawn Denim:

Sustainable denim production is very complex and requires a lot of know-how. So why not cooperate with one of the most sustainable jeans labels and use the knowledge that already exists?
Because - collaboration beats competition!
Together we have developed a few styles that combine our JAN ’N JUNE signature and the high quality and sustainability standards of Dawn Denim.

99% organic cotton/ Bio-Baumwolle // 1% elastane/ Elastan

Want to learn more about the materials we use? Head over to our materials site!

SERA is made of organic cotton, which is easy to take care of:

  • gentle wash up to 30°C
  • use mild or color detergent
  • use a washing bag to protect the garment from zippers (and other mean things) being in the same washing machine
  • no softener
  • iron on low to medium temperature

SERA

1. design

Our founders Anna and Jula still do all of the design work themselves. For this colloboratation they teamed up with the team from DAWN DENIM to create these beautiful jeans. The design process takes place in Germany.

2. raw material

Since the average cotton production is a pretty dirty business, we only use organic and recycled cotton.
If you wanna know more about the ecological benefits, compared to regular cotton. The cotton is grown in China.

3. yarn production

No matter which fibers we are talking about, they have to be spun into a yarn for further production steps.

The yarn production takes place in China.

4. fabric production

The next step of our Supply Chain is to weave the yarn into a fabric.
The fabric production is located in Guangzhou, China.

5. manufacturing

That's where all the magic happens!
Our manufacturers receive the patterns, fabrics, andother components like buttons or zippers and make them into a garment.

This piece is made in Vietnam.

6. distribution

As some of you may remember, we used to do the shipping and warehouse management in our Headquarter in Hamburg by ourselves - yes, that was a lot of work!

Since 2020 we are working with our amazing logistics partner Livipur, which is located in Bad Homburg, Germany
