Rayas Collective colorful basket bags are handmade in El Salvador by a small team of experienced craftswomen led by women. It takes 3-4 hours to make one basket.

The baskets are woven from 100% HDPE, using a mixture of new and recycled material. HDPE stands for high-density polyethylene and is one of the most commonly recycled plastic polymers worldwide. This material makes the baskets waterproof, lightweight, UV-resistant and extremely durable.

The medium-sized basket bag with a zip pocket inside is large yet compact enough to hold all your daily essentials.

About RAYAS COLLECTIVE

Rayas Collective was founded in Berlin in 2022 by sisters-in-law. Inspired by a trip to El Salvador and a deep admiration for the creativity, resource conservation and craftsmanship of local artisans, they produce high-quality baskets with Luisa developing the designs and Consuelo overseeing production and logistics.
