The combo you've been dreaming of

Our two favorite basic tops PORTO in black and white should not be missing in any closet.

Get ready to fall in love with our slightly cropped tank top PORTO!
It has a high round neck and PORTO in white is made from an organic cotton ribThe material is rather firm but still comfy.

PORTO in black is made of a flexible and comfy and Tencel™ rib fabric which adapts to your body shape perfectly. The material is slightly transparent, so a thin bralette might be helpful, if needed. The handle of the fabric is super soft and flowy.

PORTO white: 95% organic cotton (Bio-Baumwolle) // 5% elastane (Elastan)

PORTO black: 96% Lyocell (Tencel™) 4% Elastan

PORTO white is GOTS organic certified, which means that it is made of natural fibers from controlled organic cultivation and also meets the comprehensive social and environmental criteria of the GOTS standard.

PORTO in white is made of organic cotton, which is sustainable and easy to take care of:

  • gentle wash up to 30°C
  • use mild or color detergent
  • use a washing bag to protect the garment from zippers (and other mean things) being in the same washing machine
  • no softener
  • iron on low to medium temperature

PORTO in black is made of Tencel - supersoft, supersustainable and a bit delicate, so please handle with care:

  • gentle wash up to 30°C
  • mild detergent (without enzymes, no softener)
  • dry on a hanger

Tencel items can shrink up to 4% by the first wash!

1. design

Our founders Anna and Jula still do all of the design work themselves. They are mastering that challenge, despite living in two different countries. Luckily they're pros at long-distance teamwork.

So the design process is split between Hamburg and Dubai.

2. raw material

Since the average cotton production is a pretty dirty business, we only use organic and recycled cotton.
If you wanna know more about the ecological benefits, compared to regular cotton, click here.

The cotton is grown in India.

3. yarn production

No matter which fibers we are talking about, they have to be spun into a yarn for further production steps.

The yarn production takes place in Portugal.

4. fabric production

The next step of our Supply Chain is to weave the yarn into a fabric.
The fabric production is located in Braga, Portugal.

5. manufacturing

That's where all the magic happens!
Our manufacturers receive the patterns, fabrics, and other components like buttons or zippers and make them into a garment.

This piece is made in Braga, Portugal.

6. distribution

As some of you may remember, we used to do the shipping and warehouse management in our Headquarter in Hamburg by ourselves - yes, that was a lot of work!

Since 2020 we are working with our amazing logistics partner Livipur, which is located in Bad Homburg, Germany
